Virtual Tour Challenge

My tour is about how ancient civilizations have influenced modern civilizations addressing the 6th grade social studies curriculum standard. We focus on architecture of Ancient Greece and Rome and the United States. Start with the Parthenon. Then, go to the Lincoln Memorial, the Colosseum, and Heinz Field in that order. Enjoy!

    You have so many great sources. I really can learn a lot, instead of just one fact at each place.
    I'm a little confused on how to use the ruler to measure different buildings though. Maybe I just don't know how.

    Michelle, I liked how much background information you provided, considering it is of history content.

    To measure with the ruler, you just need to click on the ruler drag it from a spot to the end spot and in the box that pops up it will show the numbers, or measurements.

    You definitely put a lot of thought into this tour. I like how you included videos at several locations for the students to watch. And I'm quite impressed with the connections you made between ancient and modern architecture.
