My tour is about how ancient civilizations have influenced modern civilizations addressing the 6th grade social studies curriculum standard. We focus on architecture of Ancient Greece and Rome and the United States. Start with the Parthenon. Then, go to the Lincoln Memorial, the Colosseum, and Heinz Field in that order. Enjoy!
You have so many great sources. I really can learn a lot, instead of just one fact at each place.
ReplyDeleteI'm a little confused on how to use the ruler to measure different buildings though. Maybe I just don't know how.
You put a lot of good information in here. This was great! I am with Teressa though. I couldn't really figure out the measuring thing.
ReplyDeleteMichelle, I liked how much background information you provided, considering it is of history content.
ReplyDeleteTo measure with the ruler, you just need to click on the ruler drag it from a spot to the end spot and in the box that pops up it will show the numbers, or measurements.
Michelle, This virtual tour was very interesting. The videos were amazing. Great job!
ReplyDeleteThis was a really interesting topic to me, I love learning about ancient civilizations. You included a lot of good information, and I liked the pictures too :) Great job!
ReplyDeleteYou definitely put a lot of thought into this tour. I like how you included videos at several locations for the students to watch. And I'm quite impressed with the connections you made between ancient and modern architecture.
